He successfully exited a real estate tech startup and became one of Minnesota's top individual listing agents. Had Wilen chosen a profession outside real estate, it surely would have been in tech. A Minneapolis native raised on bluegrass and schooled in hard knocks, he began his real estate career as a receptionist before a mentor recruited him as a sales agent, a relationship that grew into a friendship, and a business, neither could have imagined.
